المؤرخة كيكو ساكاي والدراسات العراقية في اليابان

قبل أيام قليلة ، كتبت لي المؤرخة اليابانية المتخصصة بتاريخ العراق المعاصر الصديقة البروفيسورة الدكتورة كيكو ساكاي تقول انه سوف ُتلقي بعد أيام محاضرة في (الصالون العراقي) في لوس أنجلوس بالولايات المتحدة الامريكية بعنوان ( ثورة العشرين العراقية ) ، وانها متخوفة من ذلك لان لغتها العربية ليست كما ينبغي فشجعتها ، وقلت لها ان لغتها العربية جيدة ، وانها تستطيع ايضا ان تمزج بين اللغتين العربية والانكليزية وتمنيت لها التوفيق .

صلات واسعة

والدكتورة كيكو ساكاي ، سبق ان حصلت على الدكتوراه في ذات الموضوع ، وان الاخ الاستاذ الدكتور محمود عبد الواحد القيسي رئيس قسم التاريخ بكلية الآداب الاسبق – جامعة بغداد مهتم بالدراسات اليابانية ، وله صلات واسعة مع الاساتذة والمؤرخين اليابانيين ، وانه يرعى البعد الياباني في المدرسة التاريخية العراقية المعاصرة وسبق أن اشرف على رسالة الاخ الدكتور ياسر علاء اسود الموسومة : (كيكو ساكاي وتطور الدراسات العراقية في اليابان ) وقد صدرت في كتاب سنة 2018 ?وكتبتُ عن الكتاب وقلت انني وقد عدت من معرض بغداد الدولي للكتاب والقيت فيه محاضرتي عن العراق في الاستشراق الجديد وتطرقت فيها الى ما قدمته المستعربة اليابانية البروفيسورة كيكو ساكاي ، أهداني اخي الاستاذ ياسر علاء أسود كتابه الرائع ( كيكو ساكاي وتطور الدراسات العراقية في اليابان ) والذي صدر عن دار نشر الرافدين ببيروت ، ومكتبة عدنان للطباعة والنشر والتوزيع ببغداد 2018 . وما افرحني امران اولهما انه يعرف علاقتي بالبروفيسورة كيكو ساكاي التي كتبت عني في آخر وأحدث كتبها .. والامر الثاني انه درس ما قدمته هذه الاستاذة الرائعة عن العراق . وكتابه هذا الذي ارفقه بعبارات جميلة اسعدتني وهي (الدكتور الجميل روحا وقلبا الدكتور ابراهيم العلاف مولودي الاول بين يديك عسى ان ينال اعجابك مع الود ) ، وقد اعجبني الكتاب حقا منذ ان كان رسالة للماجستير وكتبت عن مناقشته في حينها بكل اعتزاز واهتمام .

والاخ الاستاذ ياسر علاء أسود شاب رائع ومشروع مؤرخ فذ كيف لا وهو تلميذ اخي الغالي الاستاذ الدكتور محمود عبد الواحد القيسي الذي اشرف على الرسالة – الكتاب وهو كما اسميه انا ( رائد الدراسات اليابانية في العراق ) ، وله صلات وثيقة مع الاستاذة الدكتورة كيكو ساكاي ، وعدد من الاساتذة اليابانيين المتخصصين بالدراسات العراقية .

والكتاب مجهود اكاديمي متميز، وفذ ، وهو فريد في بابه فلم يسبق ان تناول احد من الباحثين الدراسات العراقية في اليابان بمثل هذه السعة والعمق . وقف عند البواكير الاولى للاهتمام الياباني بالعراق ، وبالدراسات العراقية وتناول كيكو ساكاي ومنهجها وتطور بيئتها البحثية وتناولها لتأثير ثورة 1920 العراقية في مسارات بحثها عن العراق وكتبها وبحوثها ومقالاتها الكثيرة عن العراق والشرق الاوسط .

والاستاذة الدكتورة كيكو ساكاي استاذة السياسة العراقية المعاصرة في جامعة تشيبا باليابان ، وهي من المؤرخين اليابانيين الذين انفتحوا على العراق والوطن العربي ، وقدموا دراسات يشار اليها بالبنان .

والبروفيسورة كيكو ساكاي خريجة جامعة درهام بالمملكة المتحدة ، وعملت في مؤسسات بحثية يابانية ، واصبح لها اسم ووزن فكري، وصوت مسموع في المؤسسات اليابانية المهتمة بالعراق والشرق الاوسط .وهي اليوم عميدة مركز ودراسات العلاقات حول الازمات الدولية في جامعة تشيبا ، وعندما اصدرت كتابها بعنوان (ثورة العشرين :دراسة في الاحزاب السياسية والشبكات الاجتماعية 1908-1920 ) باللغة اليابانية وترجمه الى العربية الاخ الدكتور محمود القيسي وصدر عن دار قناديل للنشر والتوزيع ببغداد استضافتها كلية الآداب – جامعة بغداد ، لإلقاء محاضرة بعنوان ( أضواء جديدة على ثورة العشرين في مئويتها الاولى ) في الاول من حزيران – يونيو 2020 لمناسبة مرور 100 عام على ثورة العشرين 1920 .

البروفيسورة كيكو ساكاي ، تحب العراق وهي متخصصة بتاريخه الحديث والمعاصر وبتاريخ الشرق الاوسط ، وترتبط بعلاقات طيبة مع عدد من المؤرخين العراقيين وقد زارت العراق والقت محاضرات باللغة العربية في جامعتي بغداد والمستنصرية في 18 تشرين الاول 2019 عن (ثورة 1920 ووجهة نظر الدكتور علي الوردي عالم الاجتماع العراقي الكبير عنها ) .كتب الاخ والصديق الدكتور محمود عبد الواحد القيسي في صفحته الفيسبوكية في 21 ايار 2018 يقول :” الباحثة اليابانية البروفسورة كيكو ساكاي استاذة السياسة العراقية المعاصرة ، وعميدة مركز دراسات العلاقات حول الازمات الدولية في جامعة تشيبا ، ألفت كتابا جديدا صدر سنة 2018 بعنوان (محاولة لتحليل العالم المعاصر .. اللا تسامح في الشرق الاوسط ) .

وفي هذا الكتاب ناقشت البروفسورة ساكاي اوضاع الشرق الاوسط ، وتحدثت في الصفحة المرفقة عن البروفسور ابراهيم العلاف مشيرة انه من اشهر المدونين العراقيين على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي وانه بدأ التدوين بعمر الثانية والستين منذ عشر سنوات ولم يتوقف عن النشر حتى الان . و تقول أن الدكتور ابراهيم العلاف يعتقد أنه يمكن احداث التغيير في العراق من خلال الانترنت بغض النظر عن الجنس والعرق او الطائفة” . وهنا لابد لي من الاشارة الى الكتاب الموسوم ( العراق واليابان :تاريخ وعلاقات ) …. والكتاب مترجم عن الانكليزية من قبل الدكتور محمود القيسي وزميله الدكتور علي حسين حسون ، وقد الفت الكتاب البروفيسورة كيكو ساكاي استاذة التاريخ السياسي للعراق المعاصر في جامعة طوكيو .وقدم للكتاب صديقي ورفيق عمري المؤرخ العراقي الكبير الاستاذ الدكتور صادق حسن السوداني والكتاب يتضمن ثلاثة فصول هي على التوالي : العلاقات بين العراق واليابان :ازمة الفهم المتبادل واثرها في السياسات الدبلوماسية وتغطية الصحف للإسلام في اليابان وقصص اولادنا ” لكن من اجل من ؟ ” تغطية الاعلام الياباني لقوات الدفاع الذاتي في العراق ..كما ان الكتاب يكشف جوانبا مهمة من العلاقات بين العراق واليابان . ما اريد أن اختم به حديثي ان البروفيسورة كيكو ساكاي انموذج حي من الاكاديميين اليابانيين الذين احبوا العراق واهتموا بتفاصيل حياة شعبه وكل كتاباتها اسهمت في تطور الدراسات التاريخية في اليابان عن العراق وحضارته برؤية علمية موضوعية متوازنة واقول انها ليست الوحيدة في هذا المجال فلقد سبق لي ان كتبت عن مؤرخين يابانيين جاؤوا الى العراق في السبعينات وقدموا دراسات قيمة اظهرت الاهتمام الياباني بالعراق وبالدراسات العربية والاسلامية والشرق اوسطية منهم يوزو ايتا كاكي ، وتور ميؤرا وباحثين يابانيين آخرين وقد القت دراساتهم الضوء على الاهتمام الياباني بتاريخ العراق وشعبه ومستقبله وهنا يجب علينا ان نبني على هذا الاهتمام ونعمقه والحمد لله ثمة توجه محمود في هذا السياق فلقد شهدنا في السنوات الاخيرة اعمالا اكاديمية مهمة متمثلة بالرسائل والاطروحات والبحوث والدراسات التي قدمت في جامعة بغداد وخاصة في كلية الاداب عن العلاقات العراقية – اليابانية والسياسة الخارجية اليابانية وعن الاحزاب السياسية اليابانية وعن الاهتمام الياباني بالدراسات العربية والاسلامية

Historian Keiko Sakai and Iraqi Studies in Japan - Ibrahim Khalil Al-Allaf

A few days ago, the Japanese historian specializing in contemporary Iraqi history wrote to me, Professor Dr. Keiko Sakai, saying that in a few days she would give a lecture at the (Iraqi Salon) in Los Angeles, USA, entitled (The Iraqi Revolution of the Twenty), and she was afraid of that because her Arabic language is not As it should be, I encouraged her, and told her that her Arabic is good, and that she can also mix Arabic and English, and I wished her success.

And Dr. Kiko Sakai, who previously obtained a doctorate in the same subject, and that the brother Professor Dr. Mahmoud Abdul Wahed Al-Qaisi, head of the history department at the former College of Arts - University of Baghdad, is interested in Japanese studies, and has extensive links with Japanese professors and historians, and he sponsors the Japanese dimension in the Iraqi Historical School I have previously supervised the message of brother Dr. Yasser Alaa Aswad tagged: (Kiko Sakai and the development of Iraqi studies in Japan) and it was published in a book in 2018? In it, to what the Japanese Arabist Professor Kiko Sakai presented, my brother, Professor Yasser Alaa Aswad, gave me his wonderful book (Kiko Sakai and the Development of Iraqi Studies in Japan), which was issued by Al-Rafidain Publishing House in Beirut, and the Adnan Library for Printing, Publishing and Distribution in Baghdad 2018. What made me happy is two things. The first is that he knows my relationship with Professor Keiko Sakai, who wrote about me in her latest and most recent book.. And the second thing is that he studied what this wonderful professor presented about Iraq. And this book, which I accompanied with beautiful phrases that made me happy, namely (the beautiful Dr. Ibrahim Al-Allaf is my first child in your hands, I hope he will impress you with love). I really liked the book since it was a master’s thesis and wrote about its discussion at the time with pride and interest.

And the brother, Mr. Yasser Alaa Aswad, is a wonderful young man and an outstanding historian. How can he not, and he is a student of my dear brother, Professor Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Wahed Al-Qaisi, who supervised the thesis - the book, which is as I call it (the pioneer of Japanese studies in Iraq), and he has close links with Prof. Dr. Kiko Sakai, and a number of One of the Japanese professors specializing in Iraqi studies.

The book is a distinguished and feat academic effort, and it is unique in its field. No researcher has ever dealt with Iraqi studies in Japan with such breadth and depth. He stopped at the very beginnings of the Japanese interest in Iraq, in Iraqi studies, and dealt with Keiko Sakai, her method, the development of her research environment, and her treatment of the impact of the 1920 Iraqi revolution on the paths of her research on Iraq, her books, her research, and her many articles on Iraq and the Middle East.

Professor Keiko Sakai, professor of contemporary Iraqi politics at Chiba University in Japan, is one of the Japanese historians who opened up to Iraq and the Arab world, and presented studies that are referred to as remarkable.

Professor Keiko Sakai, a graduate of Durham University in the United Kingdom, has worked in Japanese research institutions, and has gained a name and an intellectual weight, and an audible voice in Japanese institutions interested in Iraq and the Middle East. The twentieth: a study in political parties and social networks 1908-1920) in Japanese and translated into Arabic by brother Dr. Mahmoud al-Qaisi. It was issued by Dar Qanadeel for Publishing and Distribution in Baghdad, hosted by the College of Arts - University of Baghdad, to give a lecture entitled (New Lights on the Twentieth Revolution in its first centenary) in the first From June - June 2020, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the 1920 Revolution.

Professor Keiko Sakai loves Iraq and specializes in its modern and contemporary history and the history of the Middle East. She has good relations with a number of Iraqi historians. She visited Iraq and gave lectures in Arabic at Baghdad and Al-Mustansiriya Universities on October 18, 2019 on (the 1920 revolution and the viewpoint of Dr. Ali Al-Wardi, the sociologist The great Iraqi about it). Brother and friend Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Wahed Al-Qaisi wrote on his Facebook page on May 21, 2018 saying: “The Japanese researcher, Professor Keiko Sakai, professor of contemporary Iraqi politics, and dean of the Center for Relations Studies on International Crises at Chiba University, wrote a new book published in 2018. Entitled (An attempt to analyze the contemporary world .. intolerance in the Middle East).

In this book, Professor Sakai discussed the situation in the Middle East, and spoke on the attached page about Professor Ibrahim Al-Allaf, noting that he is one of the most famous Iraqi bloggers on social media, and that he started blogging at the age of sixty-two ten years ago and has not stopped publishing until now. She says that Dr. Ibrahim Al-Allaf believes that it is possible to bring about change in Iraq through the Internet, regardless of gender, race or sect. Here, I must refer to the book entitled (Iraq and Japan: History and Relations).... The book was translated from English by Dr. Mahmoud Al-Qaisi and his colleague Dr. Ali Hussein Hassoun. The book was written by Professor Keiko Sakai, professor of political history of contemporary Iraq at the University of Tokyo. The book was presented by my friend and companion Omari, the great Iraqi historian, Professor Dr. Sadiq Hassan Al-Sudani. The book includes three chapters, respectively. Relations between Iraq and Japan: The crisis of mutual understanding and its impact on diplomatic policies and newspaper coverage of Islam in Japan and the stories of our children “But for whom? “The Japanese media’s coverage of the Self-Defense Forces in Iraq..The book also reveals important aspects of relations between Iraq and Japan. What I want to conclude with my speech is that Professor Keiko Sakai is a living example of Japanese academics who loved Iraq and were interested in the details of the lives of its people and all her writings contributed to the development of historical studies in Japan on Iraq and its civilization with an objective and balanced scientific vision. I say that she is not the only one in this field. About Japanese historians who came to Iraq in the seventies and presented valuable studies that showed the Japanese interest in Iraq and in Arab, Islamic and Middle Eastern studies, including Yuzu Ita Kaki, Tor Miura and other Japanese researchers. Praise be to God, there is a Mahmoud trend in this context. In recent years, we have witnessed important academic works represented by letters, theses, research and studies that were presented at the University of Baghdad, especially at the College of Arts, on Iraqi-Japanese relations, Japanese foreign policy, Japanese political parties, and Japanese interest in Arab and Islamic studies.
